We are now inviting applications from volunteers to join In:Site Festival 2022

In:Site is an annual festival showing contemporary craft made by graduate makers. If you are interested in joining a friendly team, would like to build your CV and develop your voluntary work experience, please complete an application form by Monday 2nd May 2022 at 5pm. You can apply to join us as an event team member.

Becoming a Volunteer

When: 9th – 13th May 2022
Where: Cathedral Square, Birmingham
What: Volunteer event team members.

Event Team Member

If you are you interested in visual arts, you enjoy making and working with the general public, being an Event Team Member will provide you with the opportunity to work with newly graduated artists/makers, assist with activities and support the daily preparation and running of this exciting event

Duties include:

  • Working with participating artist/makers and general public.
  • Assisting the artist in the making and delivery of their work.
  • Assisting with workshops for the public including organising and preparing materials, setting up and clearing away
  • Capturing data including feedback from the artists and public about the event and number of people.

Committing time to this festival will give you the opportunity to be part of this unique project. You will gain knowledge, skills and experience that will contribute to your personal and professional development and throughout the process you will get the opportunity to meet new people.
