An exhibition of new work by ceramicist Emilie Taylor inspired by the historic Donyatt slipware pottery collections at the Somerset Rural Life Museum which also features work made with local schools. Her new collection of pots, titled ‘Yield and Return’, will be displayed in the Abbey Barn.

The exhibition coincides with this year’s Somerset Arts Week Festival, 21 September–6 October. The distinctive Donyatt slipware collections currently are also on display in the museum’s exhibition ‘The Art of the Potter’.
The project was co-commissioned by Somerset Art Works, South West Heritage Trust and Craftspace, and supported by Arts Council England funding.
