Application Advice Session: Online

Join us on Zoom on Tuesday 9th April, between 4pm and 8pm.

We understand that there can be all sorts of barriers to applying for exhibitions. To try and help we’re holding artist advice sessions in person and online.

If you feel you face a barrier to applying to Made in the Middle please book for one of the following events for support with:

• Completing the application form
• Recording video or audio applications
• Writing statements about your work
• Photographing your work

We are holding three events, one in the West Midlands, one in the East Midlands and one online. You can book a one hour, one to one session with artist Leila Mars. Leila has a wealth of experience supporting visual artists to write about and photograph their work. You can choose which element of the application process you would like to focus on.

Before the event we will ask you to tell us:

• your name
• your craft medium
• your website or social media handles; Instagram and/or Facebook
• any access requirements

Tuesday 9 April, 4pm – 8pm, online.

The session will be held via Zoom. You don’t need a Zoom account, nor do you have to download Zoom. You can join directly through your internet browser. The Zoom invite and joining instructions will be emailed to you when you book.
