Origami flowers at Celebrating Sanctuary

Learn how to make origami flowers at this free drop-in event which is part of a festival of music and arts from around the world, celebrating the launch of Refugee Week 2023. Also at the festival, expect live music, films, workshops, information stalls, dancing and fun for all the family!

Origami boats at Late Night Exchange for World Refugee Day

Drop-in and make origami boats with Shelanu at this free Lates event organised by the University of Birmingham to mark World Refugee Day. There’s lots more going on including talks, performances and films to learn more about the experience of refugees, honour the contributions that refugees have made to their communities and advocate for the rights and protection of refugees worldwide.
