Shelanu at Brum’s Refugee Week Healing Party

Shelanu will be at Centrala for Near Neighbours and Birmingham City Council’s Refugee Week Healing Party as part of the Celebrating Sanctuary’s Refugee Week, providing information and the opportunity to purchase some of the jewellery and objects handmade by Shelanu members.

Shelanu: Women’s Craft Collective (supported by Craftspace) is a collective of migrant and refugee women working with Craftspace to develop craft skills, confidence and well-being through social enterprise. They learn creative skills from professional makers. Members produce high quality jewellery and objects for sale inspired by the city, cross cultures and shared experiences of migration.
