Making for Climate Change – Zines for Hope

June 29 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

 Free

Come along to Crick Gardens to make queer climate activist zines, meet new people, see new pockets of Birmingham, eat some free pizza, and learn new skills, with artist-blacksmith and craftivist Annie Higgins.

This event is first of five in the Making for Climate Change Workshop series for LGBTQ+ young people (16-25), taking place around Birmingham this Summer, exploring hope in the face of climate anxiety. This workshop series is run by Craftspace and funded by the Energy Saving Trust Foundation. More information about Making for Climate Change can be found here.

To find out about what zines are and how they can be used in climate activism, visit our Making for Change Expo.

This event is free; however, we are requesting a £5.00 deposit to secure your place, which will be fully refundable in cash when you attend. Secure your place via Eventbrite.
