We are celebrating 40 years of bringing craft to the City.
Everyone is welcome to come and craft a birthday gift to take away.
Birmingham artist Mahawa Keita will be sharing skills in braiding, knotting, macrame and beading.
Suitable for all, but all children need to be accompanied by an adult.
On Sunday 22 March, 1.30-4pm, Deaf artist Olivier Jamin will be supporting anyone who uses BSL.
In the Garden Studio, there will also be:
- 3 free, bookable, Saturday workshops promoting ‘Workshop in a Box’, our new craft kits, with the artists that worked with us to create the kits.
- 2 free, bookable, Saturday craft workshops with artists from the Made in the Middle exhibition.
- A free, bookable, textile workshop with Shelanu: Women’s Craft Collective.
