Shelanu Origami Workshop for the Jewellery Quarter Festival
July 11 @ 10:30 am - 3:00 pm
Free
We’re taking part in the Jewellery Quarter Festival and we’d love to see you at The Hive for our free drop-in workshop.
Join Shelanu, our migrant women’s craft collective, to learn how to make an origami butterfly or moth from beautiful Japanese origami paper. Take it home to keep as a decoration or wear it as a brooch. The butterfly can be a symbol of many admirable and healing qualities including: resilience, endurance, rebirth, transformation, resurrection, change, hope and life.
There’s lots more going on at the festival including food, drink and music. Find out more on the festival website.
