A detailed sculture which appears to depict a forearm and hand reaching up, palm upwards. It appears to be made of small pieces of metal and wire.

Join artist Robert Maurice King to make new characters out of recycled materials, inspired by his artwork on display in the Made in the Middle exhibition, in MAC’s First Floor Gallery. His robot characters and sculptures are constructed from discarded e-waste components.

Robert is a multi-disciplinary artist and classically-trained musician. His versatile practice includes music performance, sculpture, painting, and stop-motion animation.

Recommended for families with children aged 6+. Parental supervision is required as the workshop may involve small parts and some cutting.

Wednesday 18 February,
10.00am – 12.o0pm and 1.00pm – 3.00pm,
Terrace Gallery, MAC, Birmingham.

Free, but booking essential via the MAC website.
