A weekend of free workshops, exhibitions and events celebrating our anniversary.

Birmingham-based charity Craftspace is celebrating 40 years of bringing craft to the City. You’re invited to the celebration – come and craft a Birthday gift for you to take away. Activity designed by community-textile artist Mahawa Keita. No crafting experience necessary.
Suitable for all, but all children need to be accompanied by an adult.
In the Garden Studio, there will also be:
- 3 free, bookable, Saturday workshops promoting ‘Workshop in a Box’, our new craft kits, with the artists that worked with us to create the kits.
- 2 free, bookable, Saturday craft workshops with artists from the Made in the Middle exhibition.
- A free, bookable, textile workshop with Shelanu: Women’s Craft Collective.
