Shelanu are showing work from their Migrating Birds range at this fantastic international exhibition.
We were thrilled to be invited to take part in such an eminent exhibition, alongside renowned jewellers. It is the first time Shelanu have shown in Scotland, so we look forward to reaching a new audience.
Entrance to the Elements Selling Fair is £5 but entrance to the exhibition is free of charge.
The organisers say:
Secrets and Magic
50 Secrets of Magic Craftsmanship is a remarkable new exhibition of jewellery and other superbly crafted works by 50 international artists and designers.
The exhibition has been created by leading modern jewellery curators Amanda Game, former Director of the Scottish Gallery, and Professor Dorothy Hogg MBE, designer and former Head of Jewellery and Silversmithing at Edinburgh College of Art.
Artists and designers from around the world have been invited to exhibit on the basis of their ability to balance interesting ideas, skillful craftsmanship and a fresh and exciting approach to a wide range of materials and techniques.
The exhibition will also feature pieces from designers who trained in jewellery and have moved into different fields, including sculpture, luxury goods, and Japanese carving, and others who received early training in painting, sculpture and product design, who have been drawn to jewellery making.
50 Secrets of Magic Craftsmanship will take place from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 November at Elements 3.
