Making for Change at the Wye Valley River Festival

May 4 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

How To Heal Logo

As part of Merry Monmouth Day on Saturday May 4, from 12pm to 5pm join us for FREE drop-in craftivism activities in Drybridge Park. Open to all ages and abilities.

Our project Queering the Wye will be running workshops with the amazing @olybliss and @annie_higs who will be there to help you connect with the seasons and create harvest nature spirits. We will also take this opportunity to share the wonderful resource we created as part of the How to Heal? sessions in Hereford last year.

If you were part of the Rural Queer Connections project, and helped us spread our spores of queerness, the banners will be making their first outing on the same day at 11am as we parade through the streets of Monmouth and take over the streets with the goddess of the Wye.

We need volunteers to come and help wave our banners – meet at the top of Monnow Street a bit before 11am.
