International Women’s Day workshop at LUSH

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘An equal world is an enabled world’. To celebrate, come and see us at LUSH’s Birmingham store where you can make your own #EachForEqual pendant. You’ll be learning polymer clay bead making techniques from members of Shelanu, our women’s craft collective of migrant and refugee women alongside participants from our Women’s Maker Movement project, which helps women in Birmingham facing economic and social challenges to gain new skills in craft and enterprise. You can experiment with making polymer clay beads and take them home to bake in your oven. Full instructions and no experience needed!

This event is open to all and we as you to ‘pay as you feel’; the money we raise through this event helps us provide free workshops for women less able to pay.
