Shelanu Festive Origami Decorations Workshop

Get ready for the festive season and learn to make origami decorations for your tree, your home or as gifts.

Supported by Shelanu members, you will make two origami decorations. One a traditional Chinese money bag, the other a beautiful butterfly. 

In Chinese culture the money bag has long been a symbol of abundance and good fortune. It is believed that the money bag can help to attract more wealth and good luck into your life. The butterfly is a symbol of longevity, love, freedom and beauty.

All materials will be provided.

There are 10 places available. Booking closes Tuesday 21 November, or when fully booked. Materials will be sent out via post on or before Wednesday 22 November.

The workshop will be held via Zoom. You will not need a Zoom account, nor do you have to download Zoom, you can join directly through your internet browser.

Zoom invite and joining instructions will be sent out on Wednesday 22 November.
