Aishah Carberry, an autistic and Deaf artist, creates vibrant, kaleidoscopic patterns inspired by African, Indonesian and Aboriginal art. Working from her family home, she uses acrylic inks on cotton rag or recycled handmade paper.
Her mesmerising designs, reflecting dreams and nature, feature intricate lines and bold colours. Aishah’s art serves as a form of relaxation and communication.
