Heather is a textile artist.

Heather works in mixed media, with a focus on embroidery techniques and application. She is interested in the relationship between art and our emotional and physical health, exploring how artworks can be used in different settings as tools to promote well-being, and raise awareness of important health issues. Heather’s use of materials places emphasis on sustainability, using recycled, repurposed and reclaimed textiles in her work, and incorporating natural materials in unexpected ways.
