Symposium
Aberystwyth Arts Centre
14 July 2017

We’re collecting together the resources from the symposium which was linked with Radical Craft: Alternative Ways of Making exhibition.

This symposium, organised by Craftspace further explored themes highlighted in the Radical Craft: Alternative Ways of Making exhibition. It focussed on craft, making and materials and the significant contribution made by this group of artists to creative practice and to wider thinking about culture.

Keynote speaker social anthropologist Trevor Marchand drew on the research findings from his observations and study of Radical Craft exhibitor Andrew Omoding’s creative practice. The symposium also explored opportunities for collaboration between cultural venues, artists and specialist centres, groups and studios.

Look out for more resources coming soon.
