Pathways to Making II
Rugby College, Rugby, Friday 9 March 2018, 10am – 7pm

Professional development for established, emerging makers and craft and design students.

Professional craft skills include valuable material knowledge and problem solving. This symposium will explore the value of maker’s skills to potential partners or collaborators both within and outside the craft sector.

Speakers will present case studies of self-generated wide-ranging opportunities; inspiring delegates to be more innovative and resourceful in their portfolio careers.

This symposium supports the Made in the Middle touring exhibition and further explores themes highlighted in the exhibition. The day will close with a viewing of the exhibition at Rugby Art Gallery & Museum.
